Editor's Note, update Tuesday, November 25, 2008: We received a phone call from Valerie Lee, Music Director for the local performance of "The Sound of Music." She explained that the licensing agreement for them to do their performance of "The Sound of Music" prohibits any videoing of the program. Therefore, we have regretfully removed the link to the YouTube video showing the clip of the thunderstorm scene with Maria and the children in her bedroom. (It was great! The Pinedale Community Theatre presented three performances of "The Sound of Music" on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Pinedale. The elaborate production included a cast of 35 and nearly 100 support people. Many locals, adults and children, had roles in the production. Pictured here, Carol White plays the part of The Mother Abbess.
