Special Election Procedures for House District 22

Secretary of State Max Maxfield issued a media release outlining the procedures for the Special Election which will be held in one precinct of Lincoln County for House District 22. According to W.S. 22-16-121 the Special Election is to be conducted by the county clerk as nearly as possible in the manner of a General Election.
The Special Election will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Polls will be open in that precinct from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Voters wishing to vote absentee should contact the Lincoln County Clerk at 307-877-2021. There is no federal race on this ballot; it is an election for House District 22 only. Therefore, employers are not required to allow an hour off to vote.
