The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow which is in effect until 5 pm MST Monday. Snowfall amounts up to 10 inches are possible by Monday afternoon. The mountains will also experience blowing and drifting snow due to strong winds.

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow., sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving tonight and Monday.

The Advisory is in effect for:
Wind River Mountains West
Wind River Mountains East
Salt River and Wyoming Ranges
Jackson Hole
Star Valley
