Editor’s Note: The Bridger-Teton National Forest Avalanche Center has issued an Avalanche Warning for the period from 11:00 PM Wednesday, December 24th to 11:00 PM Thursday, December 25th. Avalanche hazard in western Wyoming is high to extreme. All avalanche terrain should be avoided. Continental Divide Area
Dubois Area Trails are being groomed with a 20-30-inch base and 12 inches of new snow.
Granite Hot Springs Trails are not being groomed with a 8-12 inch base and 6 inches of new snow.
Gros Ventre Trails are not being groomed with a 4-10 inch base and 4 inches of new snow.
Irish Canyon to Pinedale Trails are not being groomed with a 1-2 inch base and 1 inch of new snow.
Lander Trails are not being groomed with a 10-20 inch base and NO new snow.
Pinedale to the Place Trails are not being groomed with a 1-3 inch base and 1 inch of new snow.
South Pass to Irish Canyon Trails are not being groomed with an 18-22 inch base and 2 inches of new snow.
Togwotee Area There is limited grooming with a 42-inch base and 4 inches of new snow.
Upper Green River Area Trails are being groomed with a 13-15 inch base and 5 inches of new snow. _________________

Afton (middle) There is a limited grooming with a 6-31 inch base and 6 inches of new snow.
Alpine (north) Trails are not being groomed with an 8-23 inch base and 5 inches of new snow.
Big Piney/LaBargeTrails are not being groomed with a 4-17 inch base and 3 inches of new snow.
Horse Creek Trails are not being groomed with a 6-32 inch base and 4 inches of new snow.
Kemmerer (south) Trails are not being groomed with a 6-22 inch base and 3 inches of new snow. _________________ Grand Teton National Park Trails are being groomed.
