Nordic Skiers

All designated routes in our Nordic trail system are now being groomed on a regular basis. The trails along Skyline Drive are groomed every other day during the week and, beginning this weekend, on Saturday mornings. We have adequate snow for the PistenBully to navigate the entire 14 miles of the upper trail system and put down both a classic track and a skating lane. Conditions are generally good though some soft spots remain as well as a few exposed obstacles on Flat Line and the tie-ins from lower Surveyor Park to Kelly Park and from Kelly’s parking area to Halfmoon Overlook.

The CCC Pond Pathway is groomed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings with the snowmobile drag. The skiing is good on the one mile bike path but numerous brush obstacles remain on the two miles of trails that loop off of the main pathway.
