G&F seeks information on Big Piney deer poaching

(Big Piney) - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking any information regarding a buck mule deer that was illegally shot and left to waste along a gas field access road in the Deer Hills approximately ten miles west of Big Piney, WY. The deer is believed to have been shot around Wednesday, February 18th, 2009. The mature buck deer was found with vehicle tracks leading to the carcass and only the antlers had been freshly removed.
Anyone with possible information regarding this poaching incident, or other suspicious vehicles or activities, is encouraged to call the Pinedale Game and Fish office at 1-800-452-9107; the STOP POACHING hotline at 1-877-WGFD-TIP (1-877-943-3847) or Big Piney Game Warden Adam Hymas at 307-276-3359. Any information leading to the arrest and conviction may result in a reward of up to $5,000.00.
