Eight months after a devastating fire that completely destroyed their building, Rocky Mountain Home Center has rebuilt and reopened. The fire broke out early on a Saturday morning on July 28, 2008. Firefighters from Pinedale, Daniel, Boulder and Big Piney who responded to the scene and found the store fully engulfed by flames. The store was completely gutted by the blaze. Firefighters from Bondurant and Kendall Valley Volunteer Fire Departments provided manpower support. The fire burned very intensely due to the store's inventory of flammable paints, stains, carpets and furniture. There were no injuries from the fire. The fire started in the back of the building, but the cause is unknown.

The new store is in the same location as the old building. They’ve reorganized the parking lot and the new main entrance is on the east side of the building rather than on the north side. They are still bringing in new furniture off the trucks to fill their expansive showroom floor. They carry sofas, loveseats, recliners, end tables, lamps, coffee tables, mattresses, accessories, carpet and flooring. They offer free estimates and free delivery.

They are located on the west end of Pinedale just east of the Baymont Inn. They are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM and on Saturday from 10AM to 4 PM. They are closed on Sunday. For more information, call 307-367-6711.
