Now projected to be end of May or first part of June 2009 by Bridger-Teton National Forest March 24, 2009 (Big Piney) – District Ranger Greg Clark of the Big Piney District on the Bridger-Teton National Forest has decided again to extend the timeline for the draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) on the Eagle Prospect and Nobel Basin Master Development Plan project, also known as the Plains Exploration and Production Company or PXP proposal. The DEIS is now planned for release by late spring/early summer, most likely the last part of May to the first part of June 2009. The DEIS was scheduled to be released in March of 2009. "We are making good progress on analyzing all the issues and want to make sure we take into account some developing issues, especially in the air and wildlife area," said Clark. The scoping period on the Eagle Prospect DEIS closed February 7, 2008.
