The Lewisboro, New York-based LewisboroLedger.com is reporting that the International Wolf Center has spayed on older female Mexican wolf, a member of an endangered species, and harvested her ovaries. The center apparently hopes to be able to use the eggs harvested from her ovaries in a potential future in vitro fertilization program.
