Something Old, Something New - GRVM Fundraiser

Appraiser Tim Gordon, from Missoula, Montana, was at the Green River Valley Museum on Saturday, April 28th, as part of their annual "Something Old, Something New" antique-road show style fundraiser. Approximately 50 people brought in numerous items for Tim to look at. Items brought in included furniture, jewelry, pictures, pottery, firearms, coins, old tools and more. For a fee of $10 per item, Tim told people about their treasures and gave an estimate of the value. Many people sat in the audience to watch and listen to the comments and history.

Gramophone Tim looks at a Gramophone brought in by Marge Guio.	Poster Tim talks about an old Adams Jewelry calendar poster.	Interesting items Many interesting items were brought in for Tim to look at.
Arrowpoints Tim looks at an arrowhead and point collection and two guns brought in by Steve Mitchell.	Watch A projector displayed items on a screen so the audience could see details of items that were being discussed.	Prizes For $1 a choice, people can write their names on the game grid in the hopes they win the prize items.
Audience People wait to have their turn to show Tim their items. Others stay to hear the comments on other people's items.
