Municipal elections for mayor and town council seats

Big Piney and Marbleton held their municipal elections on Tuesday, May 12th. Both towns were electing a new mayor and filling two town council seats.
The results for the Big Piney Municipal elections are as follows: Mayor (4-year term): Phillip V, Smith - 44 votes
Councilmen (4-year term), 2 seats: Scott Scherbel - 44 votes Doug Firth (New to council) - 46 votes
A total of 47 votes were cast. All candidates ran unopposed. _____________________________ The results for the Marbleton Municipal elections are as follows:
Mayor (4-year term): Jim Robinson – 120 votes* - Garry Eiden Sr. – 31 votes
Councilperson (4-year term), 2 seats: Mack Bradley – 118 votes* Nick Taylor – 94 votes* - Mike Hughes – 85 votes
Write-In votes: Dave Williams – 1 vote
There were a total of 151 votes cast. There were 2 undervotes and 1 overvote.
