White Pine Resort "We still have a lot of snow and the skiing is excellent!" - Stuart Thompson, White Pine Resort

White Pine Ski Area says they still have "tons of snow and the spring skiing has been excellent!" The resort plans to run their lifts a little while longer, temperatures and snow permitting, for a spring skiing season that could last the next three weekends into Memorial Day, if the conditions are right.

Tentative dates for the spring ski season are:
Saturday & Sunday, May 9 & 10
Saturday & Sunday, May 16 & 17
Saturday, Sunday & Monday, May 23, 24 & 25 (Memorial Day weekend)

Lifts will run from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Skiers can their season passes for this season and next season’s, or buy a $40 day pass. (No half day pass for this special season.)

Information will be posted on the White Pine website, on KPIN radio, SnoCountry.com, in e-mails to the Sublette Ski Club, here on Pinedale Online, and recorded on the White Pine SnoPhone as to whether conditions will allow the skiing for each weekend.

The restaurant at White Pine is now open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They will be open noon until 9:00 PM on Mother’s Day, May 10th (Reservations please, 307-367-6606.)
