Kendall Valley Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual BBQ on Saturday, August 15th from Noon until 4:00 PM. "We came to your fire, please come to our BBQ!"
There will be food (burgers, hotdogs, sides and beverages), door prizes, drawings, raffles, silent auction and live music. The public will be able to tour the fire station facilities, see the equipment, and meet the firefighters.
There will be a raffle for a John Wayne 100th Anniversary Model 92 Lever Action 44-40 Rifle (tickets $20). Youth raffle will be for a 410 Single Shot/ Break Action Shotgun (tickets $10). The guns are available for viewing at High Mountain Real Estate in Pinedale (ask for James Thomas).
Admission and raffle tickets are available from any Kendall Valley firefighter, at the door, or from these businesses:
Pinedale: High Mountain Real Estate, Office Outlet
Daniel: Daniel Junction Store
Big Piney: Office Outlet
Cora/Upper Green: The Place
Admission is $10 for ages 11 and up, $5 for ages 6-10, and age 5 & under is free.
The event will take place at the fire station in the Upper Green, 2470 Hwy 352, approximately 20 miles past Cora on WYO 352 (follow the signs). Please bring your own lawn chair.
The fire department is in need of non-perishable food items, bottled water, and cleaning supplies for the fire station. Anyone wishing to donate to the live auction, dessert auction or silent auction, please contact James Thomas at 307-231-0167.
