Here is a resource for people looking for jobs in the oil and natural gas industry in the Rocky Mountain states of Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and North Dakota. The website is called Rockies Energy Workforce, www.RockiesEnergyWorkforce.org. The website was developed by the Rockies Energy Workforce Collaborative, a forum for colleges, public workforce centers, and the oil and natural gas industry in the Rocky Mountain region.
The RockiesEnergyworkforce.org website has information on career opportunities and profiles, educational opportunities, state workforce services, state oil and gas profiles, energy outlook and jobs in the industry, and community links.
The state oil and gas profiles has information on how much each state produces, the importance of each state to America’s natural gas and oil production, how much money flows back into each Rocky Mountain state by the oil and natural gas industry, how many jobs each state has in these industries, and how oil and natural gas employee earnings compare to the state average.
