Pinedale Middle School kicks off bully program
October 28, 2009
The Pinedale Middle School had its kickoff on Wednesday, October 28th, for the Olweus bully program that was implemented into the school last year.
To help celebrate the kickoff, the school counselor, Carolyn Normington, handed out gifts to every student. The gifts were symbolic that we are all together as one big group.
The 5th graders received a stuffed colt as their gift.
"It was amazing to see the positive reaction the kids had with their colts," said Christine Calabro. "They gave them names, wrote stories about them, and they carried around the whole day."
