Update Wednesday, November 11, 2009: Editor’s Note: Clark Dyess sent updated info about Taylor. We’ve also updated their sponsor list at the end of this article. "Taylor is 15 and now would be riding 11 of his 15 years. His sled that he has now for racing is a 2010 Ski-Doo 600RS and 2009 Ski-Doo 600RS. Taylor has been accepted as part of the Ski-Doo X-Riders. In another words, Taylor is now a Ski-Doo Factory sponsored racer. This is very prestigious and something we have been working towards and hoping for for many years! There are a very select few that are factory sponsored. So Taylor is now sponsored by Ski-Doo. Another big news for us is, this year we have a title sponsor. Our title sponsor is khaox.com. Another feat that is rarely heard of for a racer as young as Taylor."
_______________________________________ Original post, Sunday, November 8th:
Fourteen-year old Taylor Dyess has been riding snowmobiles for ten of his 14 years. The Pinedale youth comes from a family that loves snowmobile riding and racing. The family has a snocross team, which Taylor has grown up as a part of.
This season, the Dyess team: Snowfire Racing, will be competing in the entire National International Series of Champions (ISOC) series which has race venues across the United States and Canada. ISOC Racing is home of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series.
The team also plans to race in select regional races as time and money allow. All of the National races take place east of the Mississippi, except one. The closest race to Pinedale will be on Saturday, January 9, 2010 in Sandy, Utah at the Rio Tinto Stadium.
Clark Dyess, Taylor’s father, said, "I would like to invite each and every one of you to come and join us for this event. Be sure invite all your friends and family as well. ISOC is planning on making this an annual stop and there is already a lot of excitement about it! We would love to have you come and watch Taylor on a National track. I promise you, once you have been to a National snocross race, you will want to go again!"
Clark said they encourage Taylor’s fans to get pit passes and come see their team in the pits. "The excitement and energy that surrounds a National race can't be compared to any other sporting event," he said. "We would love to show you our equipment and what we do behind the scenes. While you are in the pits take the time and check out the major race teams with the "million dollar haulers". Taylor has set his goals to someday soon be part of one of those teams!"

Taylor’s first race of the season takes place in Duluth, Minnessota, November 27-29th at Spirit Mountain.
Clark said, "We have been busy moving into our new "home" for this upcoming season. As many of you know, thanks to the awesome support of NuAgain Auto Body (read Taylor's grandpa ) we now will be traveling to the races in a new bigger trailer."
Taylor races under number 698. He said his favorite riding area is Horse Creek in the Wyoming Range. His sled is a 2007 Ski-Doo 500 MXZ. He is quoted on the BigSkyXtreme website (http://www.bigskyx.com/bsx_xtreme_riders.htm) saying, "A snocross race is two races-the race to the first corner and the rest of the race."
Clark sent out an e-mail note letting fans know that he will be sending out up-to-the-minute updates from his cell phone via Twitter. "I never thought I would be one to "tweet", but I think it will be fun and it will allow me to keep everyone updated on us and how Taylor is doing at the races. So much for Twitter being only for kids! So please follow this link and become one of Snowfire Racing's Followers and know how Taylor is doing every race weekend!
