The last workshop of the ordinance update series will be held on Tuesday Jan 19th 5:30 PM at the Pinedale Town Hall. It will be an introduction to "The Mainstreet Program", with an overview of the program by Kate Grimes. Lisa Mueller from the Rock Springs program will present the program in detail and what Rock Springs has done. The Town of Pinedale will be looking for volunteers for the board and standing committees.

With the completion of the ordinance workshops, the Town will be working on drafting new and amendment ordinances. When the first draft comes available later this spring it will be advertised and placed on the Town website and at the Town Hall for public review.

The goal of the ordinance update is to better match them with current conditions. This will entail the repealing of some sections that aren't used or are too cumbersome or act as obstacles to desired development, amending some sections to provide for smoother processes, and adding new requirements that reflect the changing needs of the community.
