Official Wyoming wolf count

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reports that for 2009, Wyoming had at least 319 wolves in at least 44 packs (including 27 breeding pairs).

Wyoming (outside Yellowstone National Park) had at least 223 wolves in at least 30 packs (>21 breeding pairs).

Yellowstone National Park estimates >96 wolves in 14 packs (6 breeding pairs).
