Red Sheep

These young domestic rams have been painted with a wool-safe red dye and were recently transferred from the Midland Ranch near Boulder to grazing range south of Rock Springs. Instead of using black sheep, white sheep are sometimes painted to serve as marker sheep (as in one colored sheep for every 100, making counting hundreds of sheep much easier).
