Green River Classic Sled Dog Race

The annual Green River Classic Sled Dog Race was held Saturday & Sunday, March 13 & 14th in the Upper Green. Postponed in January due to lack of snow, conditions finally improved by March to hold the race. Eleven teams competed. Jerry Bath, from Lander, had the fastest overall time in the two-day race. BP generously sponsored the $8,600 purse.
