The Jonah Interagency (JIO) and Pinedale Anticline Project (PAPO) Offices will hold their Agency Managers Committee and Mitigation Management Board meetings on March 15, 2010, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office in Pinedale, Wyoming.

The meetings are open to the public and include a review of new and ongoing mitigation projects as well as other business. The onsite and offsite mitigation projects are designed to offset the impacts caused by intensive oil and gas development on federal public lands in the Green River valley of western Wyoming. The mitigation projects include, but are not limited to, conservation easements, on-the-ground conservation practices, wildlife-friendly fence modification projects, livestock mitigation projects and wildlife escape-ramp installations.
