March 23, 2010
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., announced the launch of her new permanent website: http://lummis.house.gov. "One of the greatest responsibilities I have as Wyoming’s U.S. Representative is to inform and assist people back home," Lummis said. "That is why I am pleased to announce the launch of my new website. My site will provide links to help people contact me, stay up-to-date on what’s going on in Congress, sign up for my e-newsletter, and get information on a variety of topics and issues."
The website will serve as a one-stop shop for constituent services: applications for congressional internships and military academy nominations, tips on filing grant proposals, and instructions for filing casework.
Lummis is also the first member of Wyoming’s congressional delegation to integrate Twitter, a social media application, into her website as a means to stay in better touch with constituents. People can follow Lummis on Twitter by going to http://twitter.com/cynthialummis.
The website also has links to Lummis’ official YouTube channel, Facebook page, and health care blog.
