Ladder Truck Pinedale Volunteer Fire Department's new ladder truck.

Pinedale Volunteer Fire Department recently received their newest engine, a ladder truck. The new aerial engine gives the department the capability to get firefighters in a basket up to the third story level of the new hotels that have recently been built in the community. The truck has the capability to lift up to 100 feet above the ground. The new truck cost $1.2 million, the cost of which was split between a state grant, the Town of Pinedale and the Joint Powers Board. Firefighters are currently in the process of being trained on the new equipment.
