Pinedale, WY – Did you know that there are at least two Russian astrophysicists living here in Pinedale? Come meet your neighbors Tatiana and Nikolay Somova at the Sublette County Library on Wednesday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lovatt Room. They will share stories and photos about the similarities and differences in their homeland - Minsk, Belarus, Russia and life here in Pinedale. Come and sample light Russian refreshments at this free event.
Tatiana, with her ceaseless smile, can be found teaching gymnastics or lifeguarding at the Pinedale Aquatic Center. Although she studied the galaxy and taught physics in Moscow, her background also includes being teammates with Olag Korbut, four time gold medalist.
Nikolay is currently working for one of the local oil companies.
Attendees are asked to use the Charles Street entrance.
