CNNMoney posted an article today (Wednesday, May 5) highlighting a provision buried deep in the 2,409-page health care reform law which will have a significant impact on all U.S. businesses. Section 9006 has a couple of lines saying that beginning January 1, 2012, all business will have to issue 1099 tax forms not just to contract workers, but to any individual or corporation from which they buy more than $600 in goods or services in a tax year.
