EnerCrest, an oil and natural gas field support company, will be holding a liquidation auction on Saturday, May 22, at the EnerCrest site on US 189 south of Big Piney. The company helps customers plan, implement and monitor environmental practices including habitat restoration, stormwater management, produced water management, spill response, facility construction, pipeline construction, ready mix supply, and roustabout supply. They have a full fleet of heavy equipment which they use for their projects. The financially-troubled company has an office in Big Piney, Wyoming. It closed five regional offices in April, 2010 and laid off about 225 workers, according to Wyoming Energy News.

In an article in the Pinedale Roundup newspaper, on April 1st,, a company spokesperson said the company did not intend to file for bankruptcy.

The Liquidation auction on Saturday, May 22, begins at 9:30 AM and is being conducted by S&S Auction Service. Items being sold includes farm equipment, fencing materials, concrete supplies, paint supplies, erosion control materials, fuel tanks, tools, pipe supplies, safety supplies, tool boxes, several trailers, welding supplies and more.
