WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today (Tuesday, April 25, 2010), U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) joined House Republicans in introducing AmericaSpeakingOut.com, a new initiative designed to directly engage Americans to collectively participate in policy conversations.
The initiative will use the internet, phones and community meetings to engage Americans.

"The project’s goal is to include all Americans, regardless of party affiliation, in an unprecedented dialogue of ideas. This tool uses technology to bring Americans closer to the legislative process.
"Working with the people of Wyoming for the past year and a half, I’ve heard their frustrations with the way Washington does business. The Democratic Majority’s ‘my way or the highway’ attitude is not working.

"I hope to continue to hear great common sense ideas from Wyoming people and ask that you join the conversation with Americans all over the country to share your thoughts, ideas and priorities," Lummis said.
