‘Rendezvous Daze’ during Green River Rendezvous Days

The "Rendezvous Daze" 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will take place on Saturday, July 10th, as part of Green River Rendezvous Days in Pinedale. The event is being organized by the Pinedale Aquatic Center. It is sponsored by the PAC, WLC Engineering, and the Pinedale Area Chamber of Commerce.
There will be a men’s and a women’s division. No co-ed teams will be accepted. The tourney is limited to 32 men’s teams and 16 women’s teams.
Enties for teams must be received no later than Saturday, July 3, 2010.
The tourney will take place outside in the Pinedale High School parking lot. They will have 8 half-courts set up. There will also be music, a first-aid tent and concessions.
Each team must have at least three and no more than five players on their roster. Only players on the roster are allowed to participate; all final rosters must be submitted prior to the team’s first game. No roster changes are allowed after the team’s first scheduled game. Players can only play on one team and must be at least 16 years of age. The morning portion of the tournament will be a ‘pool play’ followed by a single-elimination tournament in the afternoon, with the results of the pool play seating the teams. Each team is guaranteed four games. Cost is $80/team to sign up. All team members must sign a PAC release waiver in order to participate.
Games will begin at 8:00 am, with new games starting every half hour. Multiple games will be played concurrently. The first five minutes of each scheduled game will be a warm-up period. The game will last 25 minutes or until a team scores twenty-one (21) points, whichever comes first. Final championship and consolation games will start no later than 6:00 pm on Saturday.
Check-in will be Friday, July 9th from 5-7pm. One player from each team must check-in during this time to receive their final game schedule and t-shirt. For out-of-town teams, Saturday morning registration will be acceptable if prior arrangements are made; please contact the Pinedale Aquatic Center, (307)367-2832, if your team will require this exception.
The courts will be open for practice/play during this time. Any team that does not check-in on Friday (and has not made prior arrangements) will be scratched from the tournament
