PUBLIC NOTICE: The Green River Lakes Road & entire Green River Lakes Recreation Site are closed from Friday, June 4, 2010 to Friday, June 11, 2010.

The Green River Lakes Road is currently impassable and the Pinedale District has therefore issued an emergency closure of this road approximately ½ mile south of the Green River Lakes Recreation Site. Road crews have been working to resolve this issue, but current weather conditions have rendered this site impassable for safe vehicle travel.

In addition, hazard tree removal operations within the entire Green River Lakes Recreation Site (including the boat launch site, trailheads and campground) are expected to keep this entire recreation site closed to public access at least through June 11, 2010.
