BIG PINEY – The Big Piney Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest announces that the Sacajawea Campground will be opening on Friday, June 18. The cost is $ 7.00 per night and drinking water is available.

The Big Piney Ranger District has fallen beetle killed hazard trees within the campground. The wood from these trees has been limbed and cut to 8 ft. lengths and is available for removal from the campground with a valid firewood permit. Firewood permits can be obtained at the Big Piney Ranger District Office at 315 S. Front St. in Big Piney. A valid firewood permit is required to remove any firewood from National Forest System Lands.
