Everyone is invited to the festivities in Big Piney and Marbleton for the 4th of July weekend.
Saturday, July 3:
9:30 AM: Chuckwagon Chug – Big Piney High School
Kids 1K (ages 8 and under) before the big race. Proceeds go to benefit the local charity "A Woman’s Work". All contestants get a loaded goodie bag. Race start/finish in the Big Piney High School parking lot. To Register: Call Gudrid at 307-231-2390 or 307-276-5441. Race day registration at 8:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m. on July 3rd. Race-Day registration = $25. Sponsored by: Wood Canyon Races and Nurses for the Health of It.
3:00 AM: Little Buckaroo Rodeo – Ag Center Agena, Sublette County Fairgrounds. For kids 12 & under. Free admission.
Sunday, July 4:
7:00 - 9:00 AM: Charity Breakfast at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 340 Smith Ave, Big Piney
9:00 AM:Parade Lineup at EOG parking lot, Big Piney
10:00 AM: Parade down Budd Avenue in Big Piney
After the Parade: Free BBQ following the parade at the Sublette County Fair Grounds. Donations appreciated.
1:00 AM: Chuckwagon Days Rodeo – Fairgrounds rodeo grounds
6:00 PM - Midnight: Free Street Dance in Big Piney, 106 S. Fish Street (between Library and Post Office)
After Dark: Fireworks – shot from the Marbleton Hill (southwest Marbleton)
