Kids Ag Connection to be held at County Fair
Kids get hands-on handling chickens, goats, sheep, dairy and beef cattle

The 1st Annual Kids Ag Connection will be held August 6-7, 2010 at the Sublette County Fair. The event will give children a chance to experience agriculture hands-on by handling chickens, goats, sheep, dairy and beef cattle.
The Kids Ag Connection will include an overview of each animal and teach about the importance of how these animals are used in our everyday lives. The sessions will be:
• August 6th at 11:00 AM - Chickens • August 6th at 1:30 PM - Goats • August 7th at 9:45 AM - Sheep • August 7th at 12:30 PM - Dairy Cattle
The sessions will be presented by local livestock producers: The Anspach family –chickens Cat Urbigkit – Sheep Richie and Sturman Families – Goats Loreen Grandy – Dairy cattle
All of the Kids Ag Connection sessions will be held at the Sublette County Conservation booth located behind the old beef barn. Every child will receive a coloring booklet and a t-shirt, plus a few extra surprises. Bring the whole family!
