WY Natural Gas Vehicle Infrastructure Coalition is hosting a NGV Fleet Seminar in Jackson on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. The Fleet Seminar is an overall look at the process and benefits of converting fleet vehicles to run on natural gas. Discussion will focus on economic and environmental advantages including costs, tax incentives, infrastructure and meeting emissions reduction legislation. The seminar will feature David G. Hill, Vice President, Natural Gas Economy Operations with Encana Natural Gas Inc.

Questar and Encana are partnering on a new station in Marbleton/Big Piney and one in Pinedale, as well as others on the I-80 corridor. Anadarko, Williams and other energy companies are taking a look at other parts of the state for fueling facilities as well. Encana and Questar are converting all of their fleet vehicles from sedans, to pickups, to class A semi tractors to NGV use. The seminar will discuss fleet use but inherent within the overall strategy is to support as much public access to NGV fueling stations and vehicle conversions or factory OEM’s as feasible.
