Bridger-Teton temporarily closes boat ramps

PINEDALE – The Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest will be closing the boat ramps at Willow and Meadow Lakes to public access from September 22 thru October 15, 2010.
The Bridger-Teton and Wyoming Game and Fish Department are working together to upgrade the existing boat launch facilities for enhanced public safety and use. Upgrades are to include the widening and lengthening of the boat ramp at Willow Lake and removing boulders and graveling the ramp at Meadow Lake. A new vault toilet has already been installed at Meadow Lake.
To ensure the safety of the public and the contractors working on this project, the launch areas will be closed until the contractors have completed this project.
