September 13, 2010
Candidates whose names will appear on the general election ballot will be able to gather for a candidates’ forum prior to the Nov. 2 election day.
The candidates’ forum, which will be divided into two nights, will be held at the Marbleton Town Hall on Wednesday, October 27, and in the Lovatt Room of the Sublette County Library in Pinedale on Thursday, October 28. The format will be similar to that of the primary candidates¹ forum hosted by the Pinedale Roundup, Sublette Examiner, KPIN 101.1 and Pinedale Online in August.
All county-relevant contested races with new candidates will be included in the forum, including those that advanced from the August 17 primaries and local nonpartisan races that are only included in the general election.
The October 27 forum, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Marbleton Town Hall, will include candidates from the Sublette County School District (SCSD) No. 9, sheriff and commissioners races.
The following night, the candidates in the SCSD No. 1 and Wyoming House District 22 will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves to, and answer the questions of, the general public.
The forum will be broadcast on KPIN 101.1 FM radio live as well as available after the race on www.pinedaleonline.com.
Members of the public are invited to attend. Short questions may either be brought to the forum or sent to forum@pinedaleonline.com prior to or during the forum. Questions will be screened for pertinence to the candidates and will conclude at 8:30 p.m.
