Montana petitions for fall wolf hunt

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials have petitioned the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to allow for a "conservation" hunt for wolves in order to relieve "population pressures and associated biological, social, and political pressures that currently jeopardize support of wolf recovery in Montana."
