‘This Place Matters’ campaign by the National Trust for Historic Preservation September 1, 2010 The Sublette County Historical Society is participating in a national campaign to raise money for the preservation of the historic Sommers Ranch Homestead project. "This Place Matters" is a photo-sharing campaign that was started by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 2008 to help raise awareness for and celebrate many culturally diverse and unique communities across the United States. Votes by the public can help projects win $25,000 towards their preservation efforts. The Sommers Ranch Homestead project is currently ranked 18th out of more than 70 sites. |
