The Bureau of Land management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office (PFO) in coordination with the Pinedale Anticline Project Office (PAPO) will hold a Wildlife Annual Planning Meeting (APM) on Oct. 27 at 8:30 a.m. at the BLM PFO’s Rendezvous Room at 1625 W. Pine St.

As directed in the 2008 Pinedale Anticline Project Area (PAPA) Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) Record of Decision (ROD), an APM is scheduled each year encompassing a wide range of PAPA topics. However, this Wildlife APM has been established separately to coincide more closely with the availability of wildlife data and to allow for a deeper and more efficient discussion of wildlife issues. The Sept. 4 Mule Deer Monitoring Annual Report for the PAPA is available on the JIO/PAPO website at http://www.wy.blm.gov/jio-papo/papo/index.htm and will be discussed at the meeting.

The meeting is open to the public and will include the Wyoming Co-op Review recommendations, the revised Adaptive Management policy, and contractor presentations of the 2010 PAPA wildlife monitoring results.
