Idaho press accounts report that the launch of a new telephone hotline about wolves has been hindered by a glitch. With the state backing away from wolf management in Idaho, federal wildlife authorities had hoped to use the hotline as a communication tool with the public, but when the public tried to call the number, no connection was made.
