Jared Rogerson concert November 13th
by Jared Rogerson media release
November 3, 2010
Jared Rogerson is set to record his second album, "Peace, Love & Horses," in late November, but this time in Nashville. Why Nashville? Jared had learned a great deal about making CDs as he had produced and recorded "Bad Hay" in a makeshift home studio with no previous experience. Being pleased with where that CD has led him, he also realized recordings of the highest quality possible are needed in order to impact a much larger audience. "Nashville quality" recordings are extremely expensive, but the bill is typically covered by record labels for signed artists. Though today's market is now more open to independent artists than ever before, the expense for those recordings is passed directly to the artist. Jared Rogerson really needs your help! There are several opportunities in the coming weeks to help raise money to meet the costs of such a recording project. Three very helpful and easy ways to contribute online: 1) Pre-order "Peace, Love, and Horses" - $18 + $2 shipping. You receive the CD immediately upon its release. 2) Donate.... any amount by clicking the "donate" button on the Home page of Jared's website. 3) Become a Sponsor - Donations of $500 or more from businesses or individuals are eligible to sponsor a song on the CD.
Also, attend a Free Concert - Auction - Raffle at Rendezvous Pointe in Pinedale, WY on November 13th at 6:30 PM. Visit www.jaredrogerson.com to view auction/raffle items. Jim and Andy Nelson will be hosting the event. It is sure to be a fun filled night you don't want to miss!
• Jared Rogerson will be kicking off the night with the performance of a few songs from the upcoming album during a silent auction featuring items donated by local businesses and individuals. • We will be raffling Thanksgiving Turkeys, a Remington shotgun, and a professionally guided elk hunting trip, to name a few. • Ladies, there will also be a live auction of a few of Pinedale, Wyoming's finest bachelors.
