Citizens to Save White Pine, LLC are excited to introduce Jim Sullivan as the new Ski Area General Manager. Jim joins us after 35 years at Snow King Resort in Jackson, 26 years of which he spent as their General Manager.
Jim moved to Wyoming from Waterbury, Connecticut in the early 1970s, and soon took up the position of Assistant Ski School Director at Snow King, citing a history of skiing in the east. After nine years, he accepted the post of Ski Area General Manager, and held that position until he consented to take on the management role at White Pine for the 2010-2011 winter season. Along with his rich experience from over 30 years of working in the ski industry, Jim has a strong background of community involvement. For over 20 years, Jim has served on various committees within Jackson and the surrounding areas, including the Jackson Hole Ski Club Board of Directors, the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, and the Intermountain Ski Areas Association. This sense of community is an asset to Pinedale’s already close-knit ties, and we welcome him to Sublette County.
