For 25+ years, Sweet Harmony has been gathering to celebrate the magic of music. The joy of singing in a women’s ensemble would have been reason enough to keep ten ladies going, but we found reasons to share with the community we all love.
Sweet Harmony has sung for fundraisers, memorial services, parties big and small; and, has performed many fully choreographed Christmas shows that filled the school auditorium two nights.
From classical accapella to accompanied gospel, our members represent a love for many styles of music. Most of us are pianists and we all think we know what we’re talking about---so rehearsals are lively!
For "Simple Christmas Gifts" on Dec. 1st at 7:00 pm and Dec. 5th at 3:00 pm, Sweet Harmony will be singing some of our favorite Christmas music in our beautiful new library’s community room. Sue Eversull will be providing our guests with delectable sweets as we sit at tables and enjoy the casual atmosphere of Christmas sharing. In addition to listening to Sweet Harmony’s Sharron Ziegler, Julie Konicek, Chris Cramer, Marianne Mrak, JJ Huntley, Melissa Bernard, Sue Holz, Sue Briggs, Laurie McClain and Candy Herda-Scott, we invite you to join us in singing some of the season’s most cherished carols and songs.
Because sharing is what we represent, we want all friends and family attending either of these ‘musical hours’ to bring a generous donation to the food basket. That donation will be your admission. Please obtain a ticket to ensure seating from the Cowboy Shop, Office Outlet or the Hair Outfitter.
It will be our pleasure to celebrate this fabulous season of hope, joy and caring with you.
Come share "Simple Christmas Gifts" with Sweet Harmony.
