Wyoming Archaeology

The Green River Basin Chapter of the Wyoming Archeological Society will be hosting a fundraiser "Tag Sale" at the Sublette County Library in Pinedale on Saturday, November 13, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. There will be vendors with a variety of offerings, as well as items that have been donated for sale. A percentage of the proceeds go to help the local chapter of the WAS.

Vendor setup will be on Friday night from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Everyone is welcome, please bring a friend.

The Upper Green River Chapter, a new chapter of the Wyoming Archaeological Society, is for anyone interested in archaeology in the Sublette County and western Wyoming area. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM, alternating between the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale and the Green River Valley Museum in Big Piney. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings and presentations. The next meeting will be at the Green River Valley Museum in Big Piney on November 16th.
