The Department of Workforce Services will be hosting the Wyoming Workforce Expo beginning November 8th in 16 communities throughout the state – free of charge. The Expo will bring together job seekers, state agencies, training entities, and possibly employers for job seekers who are facing employment issues and need to plan their next move--whether that be enrolling in college classes, obtaining state assistance of some kind, researching mental health resources, or finding a job.
Joan Evans, Director, is excited about the enthusiasm surrounding the event. "Each of our workforce centers has really seen a great amount of interest in the Workforce Expo by both participants and job seekers," Evans said. "We are so excited to be teaming up with several state agencies, our businesses, and training entities to provide so many of the needed resources to those in attendance."
In each community, the Expo will feature a resource fair with state agencies, community colleges, training entities, mental health services, veteran representatives, and numerous other partners will be available to assist people facing employment challenges.
