Basic Pistol: Jan. 8th and 29, 2011 Personal Protection in the Home: Feb 13, 2011 Personal Protection Outside the Home Level 1 and 2: March 12-13, 2011
The Basic Pistol Class is a 8 hour class, which has a cost of $90 It has 4 hours of classroom time and four on the range. Students need to bring their own handgun and 75 rounds of ammunition. This class will be held on two different dates. This class is for anyone wanting to learn to handle load, unload ,and shoot a handgun safely and accurately it also qualifies students to apply for a Concealed Weapons Permit.
The Personal Protection in the Home class is also 8 hours. The cost is $90. This is a more advanced class than Basic Pistol. Attendees with hear a lecture from law enforcement on rights defending yourself at home. Students must take the Basic Pistol Class before they can take the Personal Protection Classes. All classes require your own gun ammunition, hearing and eye protection.
The Personal Protection Outside the Home Level 1 and 2 is also an advanced class. Cost is $150. This class includes things like presenting handguns from concealed carry, shooting form behind barriers and from different positions. About 200 rounds of ammo is needed in this class. It also has a lecture from a law enforcement officer concerning using deadly force. This class is typically about 14 hours, depending on the size of the class. Students must take the Basic Pistol Class before they can take the Personal Protection Classes. All classes require your own gun ammunition, hearing and eye protection.
