Lifts are running White Pine is open Thursdays through Sundays. Lifts run 9AM to 4PM. The ski area is located in the Bridger-Teton National Forest approximately 10 miles from Pinedale.

Mountain Man Christmas, Skiing

There was a lot going on last weekend in Pinedale. The Sublette County Chamber of Commerce held their annual Mountain Man Christmas downtown, which included a tree lighting ceremony, lighted parade after dark, open houses and late-night shopping. Also, White Pine ski area had their opening weekend for the 2010-2011 winter season. The ski area is under new ownership and management.

    Dale Hill and Ken Konicek worked in the kitchen at White Pine over the weekend. They are part of a group of locals who purchased White Pine over the summer and are now managing it, and worked opening weekend.
