Sheriff’s Office conducts alcohol compliance checks in Sublette County
97% compliance in refusing to sell to a minor

This week the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office completed a series of compliance checks with county businesses that sell alcohol. This measure is to ensure alcoholic beverages are not sold to persons under the age of twenty one.
A total of sixty two checks have been performed. Ninety seven percent of these businesses passed, their employees refusing to sell to a minor. Two local establishments failed the compliance checks and the responsible employees were issued citations. This reflects a significant increase in compliance compared to previous years.
The SCSO would like to thank the owners and employees of our local bars and retail liquor stores for their vigilance and cooperation.
