Nordic Trail grooming report – April 9, 2011
April 9, 2011
Grooming Report By Mike Looney, Groomer
As of Saturday, April 9, 2011: All trails groomed except for Flatline and Heart Attack. 3 to 5 inches of sticky snow. Conditions a bit soft. It is a bit breezey, but warm. There is a little bit of slush on the road, but it is plowed. Tentative date to stop grooming is Friday, April 15th.
While out on the trails and skiing off-trail, please watch for and be considerate of wildlife. They have had a hard winter and being spooked into the deep snow by your presence, or your dog chasing them, can cause them unnecessary stress or injury. The snow will likely disappear in just a couple of weeks, so now is the time to get out and enjoy what is left of winter!
