May 10, 2011 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On Saturday, May 21st, Sublette County Emergency Management and Sublette County Road and Bridge are asking for help in filling sand bags for use during this year’s flood season. Emergency Management will be storing these filled bags on pallets for ease of deployment when flooding occurs. County Road and Bridge will transport these to the nearest feasible locations for community and property owner placement in the event of flooding. We are asking for as much help as possible now in order to lessen the impact on Emergency Services during the flood season. Please join us from 10:00 AM until 2:00PM (note, this location was changed from Rendezvous Pointe to across from the Pinedale Ambulance Barn so as not to conflict with the Pinedale Clean-Up Days activities).
