Proposal to divert up to 250,000 acre-feet of water out of the Green River continues

The Pueblo Chieftan posted an editorial encouraging a proposal to pipe water from Wyoming’s Flaming Gorge Reservoir over to the Colorado Front Range to meet the demand of their growing urban needs. The editorial is referring to a proposal by Fort Collins entrepreneur, Arron Million, to divert 165,000 to 250,000 acre-feet of water out of Flaming Gorge Reservoir and the Green and Colorado River system.
